I have an aftermarket oil pan. Should I follow the Fumoto size chart?
If you have an aftermarket oil pan, we unfortunately do not have the specifications for it. While the thread size may be the same as the original equipment (OE) pan, this is often not the case.
When dealing with aftermarket pans, please refer to the parts manual or contact the manufacturer to determine the drain bolt size. If you can measure the plug manually, we can provide the corresponding Fumoto valve size. One easy way to identify the thread is to take the plug to a hardware store and find a nut that fits it perfectly.
You should choose your Fumoto valve based on that confirmed thread size.
